2012 Labour Day The 2012 Labour Day Parade once again proved to be a great success! The crowds refused to be deterred by the weather and the marching units shone, even if the sun did not. This years winning entries were: Best Union Float - OPSEU 128 Best Marching Unit - UA 663 Best Number of Participants - UA 663 Best Representative % - CEP 672, 848, 914 Best Non Pipe Band - St. Clair Colts Drumline Best March Pipe Band - Scottish Society of Windsor Best Commercial Entry - Preferred Towing Best Non-Commercial Entry - Harmony For Youth Best New Entry - Suicide and Bullying Association Best Classic Car Bob Willshire - 1960 El Camino Committee's Choice - Herb Galloway - Antique Fire Trucks The Labour Day Parade The Sarnia District Labour Council hosts the longest running Labour Day Parade in Canada! It is held the first Monday each September.
